Houski Terms of Service

Last updated: May 1st, 2021

These terms of service are about a legal contract between you and Houski. The Houski application (https://app.houski.ca), website (https://www.houski.ca), and any services we offer are covered by this contract.

Please read this document carefully. It affects your rights. If you agree, you enter this contract and understand that it is legally binding.

If you do not agree with these terms, or if you lack the capacity or authority to agree to these terms, do not utilize Houski's application, website or services.

Houski's services

We provide information about mortgages. For example, how much the interest rate for your mortgage will likely be. We do not generate any of that information ourselves. It is given to us by many industry professionals. That means it is subject to change. We cannot guarantee it is accurate.

When you use Houski's application or website to help get a mortgage for your home, the actual financing of your mortgage loan will not be done by us. You will work with another company that offers the actual financing loan (mortgage) for your home purchase. That company is not covered under this agreement.

Houski is a licensed mortgage broker. This means that we help you to find and get a mortgage. Unlike most mortgage brokerages, we refer our clients to other mortgage brokerages. Those brokerages will then put you in touch with the bank, credit union, or other financial institution to get your actual mortgage loan. We do this so that we have the ability to offer the lowest rates of any of our affiliated brokerages to our clients. This way we can generally provide our clients with the lowest mortgage interest rates available.

Your account is intended for your use only. You must not share your login with others. You must not allow others to access your account. Do not create multiple accounts.

Legal proceedings

We are committed to customer satisfaction. If you have a problem, we will try to quickly resolve your concerns.

Complaints against Houski shall be resolved in the order of negotiation, mediation, then arbitration, before any form of litigation. All steps shall be performed in good faith and in the interest of achieving a fair resolution.

In the event that litigation occurs, disagreements about this contract or our services will be determined by a judge. You agree that neither you nor us (Houski) can request a trial with a jury.
